Section of Little Creek Road in Nottoway County to close starting early June

NOTTOWAY COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — The Virginia Department of Transportation will close a section of Little Creek Road starting early June.

Weather permitting, the department will close Little Creek Road between Namozine Road and Turkey Island Road from Monday, June 3, through Friday, June 14.

According to the department, the closure will allow crews to perform preventative maintenance on the pipe structure.

During work, the following detour route will be in place:

Southbound — Take Namozine Road, then turn left on Winningham Road, left on Turkey Island Road and return to Little Creek Road.
Northbound — Take Turkey Island Road, then turn right to Winningham Road, right on Namozine Road and return to Little Creek Road.
