Chesterfield County School Board asks for feedback on middle school name

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — The Chesterfield County School Board is asking for public feedback on several name suggestions for the new west area middle school.

According to a release, members of the public can submit feedback from now until Aug. 28 on three new name suggestions for the west area middle school — Freedom Middle School, Liberty Middle School and Lincoln Middle School.

To provide input on these three names, complete the form available at this link and press submit.

The new middle school is being built on Westerleigh Parkway in the Matoaca District and is scheduled to open in August 2025.
