Back to School Bash in Chesterfield to offer free school supplies to students

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Chesterfield County Parks and Recreation will host a Back to School Bash on Saturday to help students and families prepare for the 2024-25 school year.

Chesterfield County Parks and Recreation’s Back to School Bash will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 17 at the Beulah Recreation Center, located at 6901 Hopkins Rd.

The event will offer all kindergarten through 12th grade students free backpacks, school supplies and haircuts.

There will also be free crafts, games, activities, food and more to help students and families ahead of the 2024-25 school year, which begins next week for some Chesterfield County Public Schools.
