Veteran family bringing Saladworks and Frutta Bowl to Chesterfield

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A new veteran-owned restaurant is making its way to Chesterfield County, introducing a new healthy dining experience to the area.

Veteran Eddie Sanchez and his wife, Cherie, are bringing Saladworks and Frutta Bowls to the Chesterfield community. They will be located at 14446 Hull Street Road and are set to open on Tuesday, Aug. 20.

The hours of operation will be Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

“Our goal is to create an environment where families and friends can gather, enjoy great food and feel at home,” said Eddie, a United States Marine Corps veteran who is brining his sense of service and dedication to the restaurant.

According to a representative from the restaurant, the Sanchez family will be donating 20% of the proceeds from opening day to the Chesterfield Food Bank.

“We are honored to partner with the Chesterfield Food Bank because their mission not only aligns with our values, but their outreach programs and initiatives make a real difference for individuals and families across the region,” said Cherie.

The festivities wont end on opening day, throughout the week of the grand opening, area residents are invited to the restaurant for promotions, prizes and more.
