    Man shot in Richmond’s Northside, police investigating

    RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The Richmond Police Department is investigating after it said officers found a man who had been shot in the city’s Northside Thursday evening.

    According to police, officers responded to the 2700 block of Dunn Avenue at around 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 15 after a man reported that he had been shot.

    The officers arrived at the scene and found the victim, who was taken to a local hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.

    Police have not released any information regarding any possible suspects. Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to call Richmond Police at 804-646-5112.

    Dunn Ave right at corner of Brookland Park Blvd. There's a Ball Park right there , kids play there, but that's the Hood and knowone really cares, until they or their children are shot, then they have a gathering, asking (why). Step up people !!!!!
