    Richmond Animal Care and Control announces that kennels are full

    RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Richmond Animal Care and Control (RACC) has announced that it is at capacity , and adoption fees for dogs over the weekend will be covered in order to try to make more room.

    According to RACC, adoption fees for dogs will be sponsored Friday, Aug. 16 through Sunday, Aug. 18 by Envi & Sage, a boutique in Hanover County’s Mechanicsville area.

    Adoptions fees will be paid for by the business from noon to 6 p.m. on Friday, from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday and from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

    All dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines, tested for heartworms, microchipped and go home with a bag of food to help you start out.

    You can visit the Adoption Center at 1600 Chamberlayne Avenue in Richmond.
