    38-year-old suspect charged in connection to fire at Vocelli Pizza in Albemarle County

    ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — The Albemarle County Fire Marshal’s Office has charged a suspect in connection to a structure fire at Vocelli Pizza in Charlottesville.

    On Sunday, Aug. 11, after a detailed investigation, the Albemarle County Fire Marshal’s Office has charged a suspect in relation to a fire at the restaurant located at 1857 Seminole Trail in Charlottesville.

    38-year-old Rachel R. Drame of Charlottesville was charged with the following:

    • Burning or destroying of any other building or structure
    • Burning or destroying personal property less than $1,000

    According to the county, Drame is being held without a bond at the Albemarle-Charlottesville Regional Jail.

    The Albemarle County Police Department assisted with the investigation.
