Three adults, one child displaced after dryer fire damages Chesterfield home

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Three adults and one child are displaced after a dryer fire caused damage to a Chesterfield County home Friday evening.

Chesterfield County Fire & EMS received report of a house fire in the 8600 block of Windingrun Lane just before 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 16.

When they arrived at the scene, firefighters discovered that a dryer had caught fire and that the flames had spread through the house to some degree.

According to fire officials, three adults and a child were displaced. They are being assisted by the Red Cross. No injuries were reported.
