    Two lanes of I-95 South were closed in Hanover due to tractor-trailer fire

    HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Two lanes of Interstate 95 South were closed in Hanover County due to a tractor-trailer fire.

    According to the Virginia Department of Transportation, the tractor-trailer was located at mile marker 87.4, just north of the Sliding Hill Road interchange. The southbound center and right lane were closed, as well as Exit 86B to westbound Sliding Hill Road.

    Southbound traffic was backed up nearly to the England Street interchange. Drivers in the area were asked to use alternate routes and expect delays.
