Man wanted in Richmond classified as person of interest in Henrico double homicide

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A man wanted out of Richmond has been named a person of interest in a double homicide investigation , according to Henrico Police.

Xavier T. Perkins, 36, of Richmond is said to be wanted of Richmond for unrelated charges.

Henrico officers were dispatched to the 900 block of Nine Mile Road at 5:02 a.m. on March 29, 2024 for a call of a firearm violation and of shots fired.

Authorities say upon arrival, they found two men dead with gun shot wounds inside of a business.

The two men have been identified as Jermarlo Tisdale, 31, of Richmond and Rufus Witcher, 36, of Henrico County.

Police have said Perkins is armed and dangerous and ask anyone with information to contact authorities with the contact Det. R. L. Breeden at 804-501-5243.
