    Celebrate Art Night at The Cultural Arts Center

    HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Mark your calendars and bring your family out for an evening of arts at Art Night, hosted by The Cultural Arts Center.

    The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen will host Art Night on Thursday, Sept. 19 from 6 to 8 p.m., located at 2880 Mountain Rd. This is a family-friendly event with free admission.

    According to The Cultural Arts Center, attendees can expect to experience four new exhibits and engage with many of the artists.

    Reflecting Presence

    Whether a seasoned artist or a student, the Virginia Glass Guild give each member the chance to display what they do. This exhibit highlights glass art techniques curated by its members.

    Memories of Northern Ghana

    Artist, Chief Babs’ creates artwork inspired by his memories of growing up in Northern Ghana and being surrounded by Dagomba culture. After coming to the United States in 2011, he uses his artwork to celebrate the traditions of African dance, music, village life, hard work and family.

    RVA-LUG Celebrates 10 Years In Brick

    This exhibit is where the love of LEGO meets art. Presented by The Richmond Virginia LEGO Users Group and RVA-LUG, which is a hobby group for adult fans of LEGO in Central Virginia, this exhibit knows no limits when it comes to age, time or language.

    A Pleasure to Behold

    This exhibit is said to hold everything from digital images to oil paintings that represent themes from space-time to yesteryear nostalgia. Presented by members of the Metropolitan Richmond Artists Association, the artwork includes visions of humanity, as well as provide concepts of the future and history.

    In addition, there will be a wine and beer cash bar that will contribute to The Center’s ArtReach programs.
