HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Colonial Shooting Academy has announced that it will be closing its business on Broad Street in Henrico County in September.

According to a spokesperson for the business, it will close due to “market volatility, inflation and other factors” after 12 years of business.

The 60,000 square-foot building is headed to the market for sale, and the contents of the building will reportedly be auctioned off in mid-October.

The spokesperson said the building will be closed to the public beginning on Wednesday, Sept. 4.

Customers with consignment firearms are asked to go to the store and reclaim their property as soon as possible during business hours before the business closes.

After it closes, the spokesperson said the business’ inventory and contents will be auctioned off online on Oct. 16 at Cannon’s Auctions .
