In May, the restaurant chain announced the closure of dozens of restaurants nationwide , including three in Virginia. Those locations were in Colonial Heights, Williamsburg and Newport News.

According to CNN , three additional Virginia Red Lobsters are among the minimum 23 locations that, by Saturday, Aug. 31, the company will be rejecting the leases of. These soon-to-be-shuttered restaurants are listed below:

    • 4415 S. Laburnum Ave. in Richmond
    • 555 S. Van Dorn St. in Alexandria
    • 709 Independence Blvd. in Virginia Beach
