    20-year-old Henrico man riding motorcycle dies after Richmond crash

    RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — A 20-year-old Henrico County motorcyclist is dead following a crash on North Laurel Street in Richmond’s Northside.

    At 1:29 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 25, police say 20-year-old Joseph Altorelli of the Glen Allen area of Henrico County was riding a motorcycle north on North Laurel Street when he collided with a sedan that was turning in the intersection of West Grace Street.

    Altorelli was taken to a local hospital where he died due to his injuries on Sunday.

    Police responded to the scene and interviewed a woman who was driving the sedan involved in the crash, who remained at the scene. Officials also interviewed witnesses and took measurements at the crash.

    No charges have yet been placed in connection to the crash, and police continue to investigate.
