    Petersburg Police investigating assault on Halifax Street

    PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC) — The Petersburg Bureau of Police is investigating a report of an assault after a victim was found on Halifax Street.

    According to Petersburg Police , a female assault victim was found on the 100 block of Halifax Street on the morning of Wednesday, Aug. 28.

    Police did not share any other information about the incident. Anyone with information is asked to call Petersburg Police at 804-732-4222 .
