HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — The U.S. Navy’s own Country Current, a country-bluegrass band that was established nearly 100 years ago, will be making a stop in Hanover County during its 2024 national tour — and you can enjoy the show for free.

The concert will be held at the Montpelier Center for Arts and Education at 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 13. This Hanover appearance is the only stop the seven-member ensemble will make in Virginia during this year’s tour.
