Festival of Grapes & Hops will soon kick off in historic downtown Petersburg

PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC) — For all wine enthusiasts, sip and celebrate at the Festival of Grapes & Hops , presented by The Southern Virginia Regional Chamber of Commerce, is coming to Petersburg in September.

The Festival of Grapes & Hopes will be held on Saturday, Sept. 21 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Petersburg Harbor, located at 277 River Street.

Tickets start begin at $15 and can be purchased online through Eventbrite .

According to the Chamber of Commerce, festival guests can expect to taste wine from Virginia wineries, discover a variety of craft beers from local breweries, and enjoy live musical entertainment.

Special guest performances can include:

• DJ C Money — 11 a.m. to noon and 1 to 2 p.m.
• John Emil — noon to 1 p.m.
• The Triple B Band — 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Plenty of parking options will be available, with street parking and parking lots near the festival entrance gates.
