Free coffee for teachers and school staff at Wawa stores in Virginia

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Teachers and school staff can get a free cup of hot coffee in any size at Wawa stores in the Mid-Atlantic area starting Monday, Sept. 2 through Sunday, Sept. 15.

Wawa, Inc., has announced its “Cheers to Classrooms” initiative for teachers and school staff to get any size of hot coffee for free. The offer is available for all Mid-Atlantic stores, which includes all Virginia locations.

To redeem the offer, teachers and school staff would need to inform the store associate at the cash register that they are a member of a local school system. The offer is only valid in the in-store, not on the app or for delivery services.

“As everyday heroes of the classroom return back to school, we’re delighted to toast a new year by providing free coffee to teachers and school staff for the first two weeks of September,” said Dave Simonetti, Senior Director of Store Operations, Wawa. “We hope this small gesture shows our deep appreciation for everything educators and school staff do for children in the community.”
