    Crash caused 5 miles of backups on I-95 North in Chesterfield

    UPDATE: All lanes are open and the scene is clear.

    CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A crash on Interstate 95 North in Chesterfield County has traffic backed up for miles Wednesday evening.

    The crash took place on Wednesday, Sept. 4, on I-95 northbound near Osborne Road, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT).

    As of 5:50 p.m., the left and center lane are closed. There are about 5 miles of backups.
