Missing 18-year-old woman in Chesterfield found safe

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — The Chesterfield County Police Department asked for the public’s help to find a missing 18-year-old woman who was last seen on Thursday.

According to police, the 18-year-old woman was last seen in the 11900 block of Reedy Branch Road in Chesterfield County around 10:05 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 5.

The woman was described as being a white woman with a skinny build. Police said she was last seen wearing black pants, a black shirt and carrying a blue book bag.

Police said the woman has a cognitive disorder and was in need of medication.

At around 10 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 6, the Chesterfield County Police Department reported that the woman had been found safe.
