Man found dead in vehicle in Henrico, police investigating as homicide

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A man was found dead in a vehicle in Henrico County on Friday, prompting the Henrico County Police Division to launch a homicide investigation.

Just before 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 6, officers were called to the 5700 block of Brook Road for report of a shooting.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man dead inside of a vehicle.

According to police, this incident is being investigated as a homicide. No other details are available at this time.
