Crash on I-64 in Henrico causing lane closures, delays

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A crash on Interstate 64 in Henrico is causing lane closures and delays Sunday night.

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) reported at 9:22 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 8 about a multi-vehicle crash on I-64 eastbound at mile marker 179.2 near Cox Road that had caused one travel lane to close.

VDOT released an update at 9:26 p.m. stating that two travel lanes are now closed as a result of the crash. Drivers should expect delays.
