Man found dead inside vehicle identified by Henrico Police, homicide investigation underway

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — The Henrico County Police Division has now identified the body of a man found inside a vehicle in the Lakeside area of the county.

Police were called to the 5700 block of Brook Road for a reported shooting around 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 6.

According to police, officers arrived and found a man — now identified as 25-year-old Timothy Dylan Farley, of Maryland — inside the vehicle with “obvious signs of trauma.”

Farley was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Henrico County Police Division is investigating this incident as a homicide.
