    Man killed in crash on Courthouse Road in Chesterfield identified

    CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — The Chesterfield County Police Department has identified the man who was killed in a crash on Courthouse Road on Wednesday.

    According to police, at around 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 11, 64-year-old Selbourne Seaton of South Chesterfield was heading south on the 10000 block of Courthouse Road in a pickup truck when he ran off the roadway and struck a tree.

    Seaton was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident is still under investigation, but police believe he suffered a medical emergency immediately before the crash.
