Man found dead in yard of Henrico home, police investigating

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — The Henrico County Police Division is investigating after a man was found dead on South Cedar Avenue on Sunday.

At around 11:36 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 15, Henrico Police responded to a call for shots fired in the 100 block of South Cedar Avenue.

When officers arrived on scene, they found a man dead in the yard of a residence on South Cedar Avenue. Officials confirmed to 8News that the male was shot.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Henrico Police at 804-501-5000 .
