‘Wizard of Oz On Ice’ is bringing the magic to Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Prepare to be captivated by magic as “Wizard of Oz On Ice” makes its way to Richmond’s Dominion Energy Center.

“Wizard of Oz On Ice” will grace the Dominion Energy Center’s stage on Sunday, March 30, 2025.

Tickets will go on sale to the public beginning at 10 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 20. Tickets can be purchased online , by phone (800) 514-3849 and in-person at the Altria Theatre Box Office, Monday through Friday between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Dominion Energy Center will be transformed to the Land of Oz to ensure a phenomenal performance from Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tin Man and the Cowardly Lion.

According to a Dominion Energy Center spokesperson, “Wizard of Oz On Ice” is said to have a new custom soundtrack, as well as interactive elements like participation from the audience and immersive visuals.

“Wizard of Oz On Ice” feature an experience that guests of all ages would be intrigued by, highlighting thrilling ice-skating skills, memorizing choreography and eye-catching visuals.
