Enter your pet for the Richmond Animal League 2025 Calendar Contest!

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — The Richmond Animal League (RAL) is looking for the next rising stars of their 2025 calendars — and there are only five days left to enter!

According to a release, from now until Saturday, Sept. 21, people can enter a photo of their pet to the RAL 2025 Calendar Contest for a chance at fame and stardom.

Voting also lasts until Saturday, and every $1 donated equals one vote, with the pets earning the most votes securing a spot in the annual calendar.

The top 12 pets will win a one-month calendar feature as well as a professional photoshoot with Brittany Rose Petography. Every pet that raises $250 will get their photo on a date in the calendar.

Here’s how you can participate:

• Vote for your favorite pet
  • Each $1 donation counts as a vote, and the more you donate, the higher the pet climbs!
• Enter your pet
  • Register your pet in the contest and get friends and family to vote!
    • All funds go directly toward helping RAL save pets in need.

The winners will be revealed at RAL’s Fall Fest on Saturday, Sept. 21 from 4 to 7 p.m. — which features live music, food, vendors and more!
