Crash on I-64 West in Henrico closed multiple lanes

UPDATE: All lanes are open and the scene is clear.

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A crash on Interstate 64 West in Henrico County has shut down multiple lanes Monday evening.

The crash took place just after 5 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 16, on I-64 westbound just west of N Parham Road, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT).

As of 5:18 p.m., the westbound center lane and right lane are closed. The exit ramp 181A was also closed, but has since been reopened.

Drivers should avoid the area as first responders work to clear the scene.
