PHOTO: Overturned truck causes Ashland Road closure

HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — The Hanover County Sheriff’s Office has released information about an overturned truck causing Ashland Road to close on Monday evening.

According to a post from the sheriff’s office, a truck overturned on Monday, Sept. 16 causing asphalt to spill out and Ashland Road to close between Abner Church Road and Pouncey Tract Road.

The cleanup is expected to take several hours — check the sheriff’s office Facebook page for updates about the road re-opening.
