RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) and University of Richmond Men’s Basketball teams have release their full schedules for the 2024-2025 regular season.

Perhaps the most significant revelation from VCU’s schedule release is that, this year, the Rams will not be hosting Pennsylvania State University, along with former Head Coach Mike Rhoades and former players Ace Baldwin, Jr. and Nick Kern, Jr. The Nittany Lions are contractually obligated to travel to Richmond for one regular season game as part of Rhoades’ buyout agreement with VCU.

The most high-profile matchup on the Spiders’ regular season schedule is with Auburn University, the defending Southeastern Conference champion who has made it to the NCAA Tournament the last three seasons consecutively.

This year, the Rams will take part in the Veterans Classic in Annapolis, Maryland from Nov. 21 to 24 and the Spiders will take part in the Gulf Coast showcase in Fort Myers, Florida from Nov. 25 to Nov. 27.

The Rams and Spiders will face off against each other on Saturday, Feb. 1 at the Siegel Center and on Tuesday, Feb. 25 at the Robins Center. The Atlantic 10 Tournament will take place from Wednesday, Match 12 to Sunday, March 16 at Capital One Arena in Washington.

The Rams’ full schedule can be found here and the Spiders’ full schedule can be found here .
