    Cyclist injured after being hit by vehicle in Richmond’s Fan District

    RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — A cyclist is injured after they were hit by a vehicle in Richmond’s Fan District Tuesday evening.

    At 8:41 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 24, officers with the Richmond Police Department responded to the intersection of Monument Avenue and North Robinson Street for a crash.

    When officers arrived, they found an injured cyclist who had been hit by a vehicle. Police said the cyclist had a non-life-threatening injury and was taken to a local hospital.

    The driver stayed on the scene, and charges are pending, according to police.
