Woman shot in leg in Henrico, police investigating

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — The Henrico County Division of Police is investigating an incident in which a woman was shot in the leg.

According to police, officers responded to the 200 block of Engleside Drive at around 5:50 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 25 for a report of a shooting. When they got to the scene, they found a woman who had been shot in the leg. She was taken to a local hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.

A juvenile at the scene was injured by broken glass, they were treated at the scene and did not require other medical attention, according to police.
