Great 8 Events: 20th Annual Richmond Folk Festival and other events

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Are you looking for fun events this weekend? Good Morning Richmond Anchor Delaney Hall and StormTracker8 Meteorologist Matt DiNardo has got you covered with the details for events happening this weekend.

This week’s episode of Great 8 Events features the 20th Annual Richmond Folk Festival taking place at Browns Island from Friday, Sept. 27 through Sunday, Sept. 29. The three-day festival is free event for the whole family.

Other events you won’t want to miss include the State Fair of Virginia at Meadow Event Park, Math Alive Exhibit at the Science Museum of Virginia, Festival of India at the Greater Richmond Convention Center and the Chesterfield Freedom Festival at the Chesterfield Fairgrounds.
