VDOT to hold public meeting on Short Pump Area Transportation Improvement Project

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will hold a public hearing on the Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Short Pump Area Transportation Improvement Project.

The meeting will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 29, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Wingate by Wyndham – Short Pump, located at 13991 North Gayton Rd. in Rchmond.

According to VDOT, the proposed transportation improvements will include sections of U.S. 250, Interstate 64, I-295 and Route 288.

The meeting will be operated in an open house style to provide flexibility for the public to engage with VDOT and the project, according to the department.
