    Virginia AT&T customers may have issues making, receiving calls, including 911 calls

    HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — AT&T customers in Virginia using LTE/5G may have issues making and receiving calls Friday evening, including 911 calls.

    Just after 8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 27, a spokesperson for Hanover County said the county had been contacted by AT&T regarding a “wireless network problem” affecting LTE/5G customers in Virginia.

    Until this problem is resolved, affected customers may not be able to make or receive calls, including 911 calls.

    The spokesperson said those in need of 911 should use a landline or attempt to reach non-emergency lines. For Hanover residents, you can contact its non-emergency number at 804-365-6140.
