HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Not only did Hanover County firefighters recently rescue a trapped kitten, but they helped the little guy find a “furr”-ever home.

On Wednesday, Oct. 2, Engine 401 with the Ashland Volunteer Fire Company was contacted by a local family about a trapped kitten.

While fire officials did not specify the nature of the kitten’s predicament, the firefighters were able to safely free them, according to the Hanover County Fire-EMS Department.
