GalaxyCon’s Nightmare Weekend comes to Richmond this weekend

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — GalaxyCon’s Nightmare Weekend is coming to the Greater Richmond Convention Center this weekend with celebrities, vendors and more.

Nightmare Weekend — hosted by GalaxyCon — is coming to the Greater Richmond Convention Center, located at 403 N 3rd St., from Oct. 11 to 13. It will feature celebrities, parties, vendors, gaming and cosplay contests.

Some of the celebrities that will be available for meet and greets as well as autographs are film director John Carpenter (The Thing), David Howard Thornton (The Terrifier) and several cast members from the 1970s film “The Warriors.”

Here’s the hours for each day of this three-day event:

• Friday, Oct. 11: 2 p.m. to 2 a.m.
• Saturday, Oct. 12: 10 a.m. to 2 a.m.
• Sunday, Oct. 13: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
