STOMP, the international percussion group, returns to Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — STOMP, the international percussion group, will be returning to Richmond in March.

On Friday, March 28 through March 29, 2025, the international percussion group, STOMP will return to Richmond for three performances at the Carpenter Theatre inside of the Dominion Energy Center.

According to Broadway Richmond, STOMP has been performing for more than 29 years and has performed in over 50 countries and in front of over 26 million people.

Aside from stage performances, STOMP has achieved success through numerous recognitions like TV appearances in their HBO special Stomp Out Loud, The 2012 London Olympics Closing Ceremony and the Academy Awards. In addition, the group has received an Academy Award, Emmy nominations and one Emmy Award.
