    Garden Glow returns to Maymont in Richmond for three extra nights, features new installations

    RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Garden Glow will return to Maymont Park in Richmond for three extra nights this year, illuminating the area with vibrant colors with several new installations.

    The Garden Glow event will run from Wednesday, Oct. 16 through Sunday, Nov. 10 at Maymont, and will be open every day except on Mondays.

    According to a spokesperson for Maymont, new this year are light sculptures by international artists and a Kinsale Glow Path, which features several sculptures standing over 23 feet tall. There will also be Glow Swings for attendees to have the opportunity to try out.

    The event will also feature a shop where guests can purchase cups and glowing accessories. Fire pits and furniture will be available at the Glow Village for attendees to enjoy food and drinks from a bar, according to Maymont .

    Entrance to the event will be at the Robins Nature Center, with event parking available at the center and Hampton Street parking lots, in addition to street parking. The Maymont Farm parking lot will serve as overflow parking as needed.

    According to Maymont, members will receive discounted admission, as well as free admission on Oct. 16, 22 and 29. Ticket prices will vary by night, from $12 to $20.
