HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — The 21st annual Ashland Harvest Run 5k and 10k are returning to Hanover County on Saturday, bringing intermittent closures to roads in the town of Ashland.

The Ashland Police Department said the run will span from 7 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19, and will head between Carter Park and Randolph-Macon College.

Some streets within the race perimeter, including Route 54/England Street, will close intermittently to allow runners to cross. Maple Street between Sunny Drive and Ashcake Road will be closed to drivers.

There will be police officers and race officials at various intersections to help with the flow of traffic and allow cars to enter and exit the course to access their homes.

Some drivers may experience short delays during the run.
