I-95 South in Chesterfield backed up for miles due to multi-vehicle crash

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Traffic on Interstate 95 South in Chesterfield County is backed up for miles due to a multi-vehicle crash Thursday evening.

The crash took place around 4 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 17, on I-95 southbound near Coxendale Road, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT).

As of 5:25 p.m., while no lanes remain closed, there are five miles of backups.
