    Hopewell Police ask for help locating missing man

    HOPEWELL, Va. (WRIC) — The Hopewell Police Department is asking for help to locate a man that has been missing since Friday.

    According to the department, 25-year-old Andre Malik Cox left his residence at around 4 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 18, and has not been seen since.

    Cox is described as a black male standing at 6 feet 1 inch tall, with afro style hair, facial hair and brown eyes. The last clothing he was seen in is a dark colored hoodie and a dark colored pair of pants.

    He has suffered from depression in the past, according to the department, and he was last seen in the Hopewell Marina area.

    Although foul play is not suspected at this time, the department is looking for public help in locating Cox

    Members of the Hopewell Police Department Criminal Investigation Unit have started an investigation into the incident, and anyone with information is urged to contact Detective Martin at 804-541-2284.
