38-year-old man arrested in connection to Goochland stabbing

GOOCHLAND COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A 38-year-old man has been arrested in connection to a stabbing that took place in Goochland on Sunday.

According to the Goochland County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a reported assault in the 5300 block of Woodstone Court on Sunday, Oct. 20 at around 12:35 a.m.

While deputies were on scene interviewing witnesses, a local hospital reported that a victim involved in the incident had arrived with a stab wound that was considering non-life-threatening.

As a result of an investigation, 38-year-old Bradley Charles Coxe was arrested by the Goochland County Sheriff’s Office and has been served a felony warrant for malicious wounding as well as a misdemeanor warrant for assault and battery of a family member.

Coxe is being held at Pamunkey Regional Jail without bond and is set to appear in Goochland County General District Court on Monday, Oct. 21 at 8:45 a.m.
