RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Looking to hone your creativity? As part of the artoberVA event series presented by CultureWorks, AgeCroft Hall and Gardens in Richmond will host an event on Thursday where attendees can paint, draw or work on another creative project.

The event will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Thursday, Oct. 24 on a pay-what-you-will basis.

Attendees are invited to take a stroll through the gardens, find a shady spot and paint or draw. Visitors can also opt to work on a knitting or crochet project, read, or work on whichever creative practice they enjoy.

Participants can register for a free event ticket ahead of the event, or they can grab a ticket at the front desk upon arrival. A separate donation is optional but welcome, according to organizers.

Art supplies will not be provided. The event will be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather.
