Missouri sees danger of industrial food waste
Gov. Mike Parson of Missouri recently signed legislation banning industrial food waste from Arkansas food processing plants. Waste from Arkansas can include offal, blood and grease, an estimated at 200,000 tons per year, being spread as fertilizer on pastures and farms in Missouri. The ban is related to concerns about runoff contaminating water.

City of Hollister, Mo., left cleaning up after flash flooding
HOLLISTER, Mo. (KY3)—A summer storm swept through the Ozarks, and the people of Hollister are now cleaning up what the storm left behind. Turkey Creek runs through the middle of the city. MWSU Nursing students achieve 100 percent pass rate in Spring 2024
