Absentee Voting Begins Today
Today (Friday, June 28) is the first day of the 46-day absentee voting period. Eligible Wright County voters will be able to begin casting their ballots for the 2024 State Primary Election. Voters may request an absentee ballot by contacting Wright County Elections directly or by completing the online request form at mnvotes.org. Voters are also able to visit the Wright County Government Center where they can cast an in-person absentee ballot. Please visit the Finance & Taxpayer Services counter on the first floor of the Wright County Government Center to cast your in-person absentee ballot. The Government Center is open to serve voters from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday.

Twin Cities Man Injured in Pickup vs. Passenger Car Crash Early Sunday in St. Michael
A Twin Cities Man was injured when the vehicle he was driving collided with a pickup early Sunday morning in Wright County. The State Patrol reports that around 4:40 AM, a Toyota Scion passenger car and a Toyota Tundra pickup were both westbound on I-94 when they collided near milepost 204 in St. Michael.
Updated: Section of CSAH 36 in Otsego slated to reopen after being closed due to flooding
Update: The segment of County State Aid Highway 36 between Quilley Avenue NE and Rachele Avenue NE in Otsego that has been closed since Monday (June 24) will re-open in the next half hour (1:30 p.m. Thursday, June 27) to traffic, the Wright County Highway Department announced.
