Homearama, which has been a staple in the region for more than 30 years, is back again to showcase seven newly constructed homes. “All of the homes are custom built homes, so each and every one of them has their own unique personality,” said Debbie Howell, interim executive director for Home Builders Association of Dayton. “There are multiple different styles; some are modern, some have the classic look. Tour each home to see what you like because they are all very different.”

Years ago, as a teacher in his hometown of Dayton, Ohio, Noah Falck discovered the power of poetry when inner-city schoolchildren responded to poetic language. “It was a gateway to teaching at-risk kids how to read,” recalls Falck, forty-seven, Just Buffalo Literary Center (JBLC) Literary Director. The newly named position followed a retrenchment at the nearly fifty-year-old center, one of the nation’s top literary organizations. Prior to that, Falck was Education Director, overseeing school and community programs.
