TROY — Tour de Donut, the unique, donut-based bicycle event that rides though Troy, is set to return for its 15th annual race next weekend. The Tour de Donut will be held in downtown Troy, along with other race-day events, on Saturday morning, Aug. 24. WARREN COUNTY, Ohio (WKEF) -- The Ohio State Highway Patrol released video of a police chase of a stolen car that reached speeds of more than 120 miles per hour. The chase involving a carload of teenagers began on Interstate 75 in Monroe during the early morning hours of July 25.

Ohio Woman Finally Arrested After Evading Police For Allegedly Stealing $1.5M From Medicaid
Police have found and arrested an Ohio woman following her indictment for medical fraud. Janay Corbitt allegedly stole $1.5 million from Ohio Medicaid. According to WDTN, the 36-year-old has evaded authorities for months. She was initially indicted on 8 felony counts by a Franklin County Grand Jury in May. However, Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost disclosed that Corbitt has been located, and is currently detained in Texas. Her charges range from medical fraud, aggravated theft, and forgery, among others.

Dayton branch of national defense firm secures $209M contract
BEAVERCREEK, Ohio (Dayton Business Journal) -- A major player in national defense just announced it received of a large contract with the potential to impact the Dayton region. The local branch of HII won the $209 million contract with the U.S. Air Force. The five-year task order calls for help in developing and upkeep of Air Force fighter and bomber weapons systems and subsystems. The HII team will perform research and analysis to support the USAF’s weapons systems development, sustainment and long-term strategy.
