Springfield police officer faces third OVI charge over 5-year period
A Springfield police officer is facing his third OVI charge in a five-year period following a Friday traffic stop by the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Joseph Robinson, 42, was pulled over shortly after midnight in the area of McCreight Avenue and West Elm, according to Clark County Municipal Court records. He faces one count of OVI and one turn and stop signal violation. He is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday.
