Glenwood’s Appenzeller Talks National Ranking And Summer All Star Games
Glenwood left-handed senior Cameron Appenzeller has been ranked the #1 ranked left handed pitcher in the class of 2025 according to Prep Baseball since the high school season ended and is now receiving invites and attending camps and all star games all over the country. We spoke with Appenzeller on Tuesday about his summer so far and what he’s looking forward to.

The painting of the Vandalia Statehouse is back at Vandalia City Hall. At the former Vandalia City Hall, the large painting of the Vandalia Statehouse was on the wall behind the council. But, when City Hall moved to its current location, the painting stayed in what is now the Vandalia Public Safety Building. But, with a new wall built at City Hall, the large painting of the Statehouse is back behind the council table. The painting was moved to City Hall on Monday.

If you blinked, you missed it. It was brief, but there was an earthquake to make sure everyone in southeast Missouri was awake thanks to the ever-present New Madrid Fault.
